Foodisiac Sotogrande: bonito, sabroso, pero con margen de mejora Visité Foodisiac durante una escapada a Sotogrande, atraído por su estética cuidada y su carta moderna. El lugar es encantador, con una terraza agradable y un interior decorado con mucho gusto. Es el tipo de sitio donde te apetece sentarte sin mirar el reloj. Probé uno de sus platos estrella, el poké bowl de salmón, y estaba fresco, bien presentado y con ingredientes de calidad. También pedimos una ensalada de gambas con aguacate que tenía una combinación de sabores muy bien equilibrada. El café, sorprendentemente, fue de lo mejor: aromático y servido con mimo. Ahora bien, el servicio fue amable, pero algo lento. No fue un gran problema, porque el entorno invita a relajarse, pero sí se notaba falta de agilidad en algunos momentos. También es cierto que algunos precios están un pelín por encima de lo que esperas, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta el tamaño de las raciones. En resumen, Foodisiac es un sitio muy agradable para disfrutar de una comida ligera o un brunch con estilo. Si afinan un poco más el servicio y ajustan ciertos detalles, puede convertirse en un imprescindible en Sotogrande. Volvería, sobre todo por el ambiente y la calidad del producto.

Very nice service ambiance and food

We’ve been here several times before and always enjoyed it – the location is beautiful and the food is delicious. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was disappointing. There were two empty tables outside, but we were told they were reserved for guests arriving within the next 30 minutes. We were promised that if anything opened up, we’d be moved outside. So we had to sit indoors, which wasn’t nearly as pleasant. Even after asking again, we were told all the available outdoor tables were reserved. However, during the entire 1.5 hours we were there, not a single one of those supposedly reserved tables was occupied – and two more tables remained empty as well. This really impacted our experience and left a negative impression of the service. We hope that in the future, reservations are handled more transparently and that genuinely free tables aren’t left unused without reason
